Bawso 强迫婚姻研究报告的结果  

强迫婚姻影响了全世界超过 1540 万人，其中 88% 是妇女和女孩。这种做法限制了妇女在生活中的选择，决定了她们应该嫁给谁、结交哪些朋友以及其他生活选择。强迫婚姻是对妇女和女孩的一种虐待，应被视为犯罪。  

解决通常与婚姻有关的强迫婚姻和基于荣誉的虐待 (HBA) 问题，需要更好地了解这种做法的规模及其促成因素。作为一个支持强迫婚姻和 HBA 受害者和幸存者的组织，我们进行了一项研究，旨在深入了解促成强迫婚姻和 HBV 的意识形态。这项研究从 2022 年开始，并于 2023 年 9 月完成。该报告于 2023 年 10 月由社会正义部长兼首席党鞭 Jane Hutt (威尔士政府) 发布。  

该研究的一项重要建议是，支持机构需要为幸存者建立全面的端到端支持系统，从事件报告之时起，直到幸存者不再需要直接支持为止，无论其移民身份如何。

2024 年生活成本报告

自新冠疫情爆发以来，英国的通货膨胀率不断上升，影响了低收入、弱势和弱势群体的生活。通货膨胀推高了食品和洗漱用品等必需品、交通、儿童保育和假期的成本。总体而言，威尔士 28% 的儿童贫困率应该引起政策制定者和政府的关注。这意味着孩子们上床睡觉时没有足够的食物，缺乏维持健康和成长的基本需求。

Bawso 生活成本报告强调，可支配收入不足也会增加暴力和人际关系破裂的风险。

No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) 2024

No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) is an immigration condition placed on visa for migrants by the UK Government. The condition applies also to women who are on spousal visas and allows immigrants to stay in the UK at no cost to the public. Victims of domestic abuse and violence on NRPF are disadvantaged and exposed to increased risk of further abuse. Victims are not eligible for safe accommodation provided by charities in refuge, as accommodation is provided by public funds. They can not also access finances/welfare benefits to live on.  

Bawso NRPF policy brief (2024) provides information on current Welsh Government legislation that touches on ending homelessness in Wales and protecting victims of domestic abuse and violence.
