A powerful day of remembrance, learning, and commitment to ending ‘Honour’-Based Violence and saving lives.

Join us on Friday 24th of July for a meaningful Day of Remembrance for Victims of ‘Honour’-Based Violence (HBV), a dedicated space to reflect, raise awareness, and stand in solidarity with those affected. This event provides an opportunity for professionals to come together, deepen understanding, and strengthen collective efforts to prevent harm and support those at risk.

Through shared reflection and discussion, the session will highlight the impact of so-called ‘honour’-based abuse, the importance of early intervention, and the role that different sectors play in safeguarding vulnerable individuals. It is also a chance to honour the lives affected and reaffirm our commitment to creating safer communities.

This event is aimed at professionals working across health services, education, local authorities, emergency services, criminal justice, and the voluntary sector. Together, we can build stronger partnerships, increase awareness, and take meaningful action.
