Bawso este m\u00e2ndru s\u0103 g\u0103zduiasc\u0103 evenimentul anual Eveniment de schimb de cuno\u0219tin\u021be privind toleran\u021ba zero fa\u021b\u0103 de mutilarea genital\u0103 feminin\u0103 (MGF)<\/strong> pe 6 februarie 2026<\/strong>, de la 09:30 - 13:00<\/strong>, la Sala de recep\u021bie a primarului, Guildhall, Swansea<\/strong>Evenimentul marcheaz\u0103 Ziua Interna\u021bional\u0103 a ONU pentru Toleran\u021b\u0103 Zero fa\u021b\u0103 de MGF<\/strong>, un apel global la ac\u021biune pentru a pune cap\u0103t uneia dintre cele mai grave forme de violen\u021b\u0103 \u00eempotriva femeilor \u0219i fetelor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reunind p\u0103r\u021bi interesate cheie din guvernul galez, agen\u021biile statutare, sectorul ter\u021biar \u0219i comunitate, evenimentul va oferi o platform\u0103 de colaborare pentru reflec\u021bie, \u00eenv\u0103\u021bare \u0219i discu\u021bii strategice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La nivel global, mutilarea genital\u0103 feminin\u0103 continu\u0103 s\u0103 afecteze milioane de oameni. UNICEF (2024) raporteaz\u0103 c\u0103 peste 230 de milioane de femei \u0219i fete<\/strong> au suferit MGF, care este o cre\u0219tere de 15%<\/strong> \u00een prevalen\u021b\u0103. \u00cen mod alarmant, se a\u0219teapt\u0103 ca num\u0103rul fetelor aflate \u00een risc s\u0103 ajung\u0103 4,6 milioane p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 2030<\/strong>, echivalent cu aproximativ 12.000 de fete sunt \u00een pericol \u00een fiecare zi<\/strong>\u00cen Regatul Unit, datele r\u0103m\u00e2n limitate, estim\u0103rile cit\u00e2nd \u00eenc\u0103 137.000 de supravie\u021buitori<\/strong>, subliniind necesitatea unei \u00eembun\u0103t\u0103\u021biri a colect\u0103rii datelor pentru a sprijini prevenirea \u0219i protec\u021bia eficiente. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acest eveniment ofer\u0103 o oportunitate important\u0103 de a analiza realiz\u0103rile, de a identifica lacunele \u0219i de a consolida abord\u0103rile de protec\u021bie interinstitu\u021bionale.
